EXPERIENCE |
Mr. Mallon is Special
Counsel to The Tipton Law Firm and began his law career in
Chicago in 1969, but moved to Colorado in 1971. He is licensed
in both states, and is also a member of the Denver and Chicago
Bar Associations. He is also admitted to practice before the U.
S. District Court in Denver as well as the 10th Circuit Federal
Court of Appeals.
He has represented clients
in Illinois before the district courts and the Illinois Supreme
Court; in Colorado before the state district courts, appellate
courts, and the Colorado Supreme Court, and before the federal
district court in Denver and the U.S. Federal Court of Appeals,
10th circuit.
Mr. Mallon holds an
undergraduate degree in business administration from
Northwestern University School of Business, and a Juris Doctor
degree from Loyola University in Chicago.
He has been a principal in a
number of businesses, including real estate, publishing,
commercial lending, and title insurance as well as a director of
dozens of companies. He has also been an adjunct professor of
business law at Regis University.
Mr. Mallon represents
established and start-up businesses, individuals, financial
institutions such a banks and credit unions, private lenders,
real estate businesses and others. He advises clients across a
wide spectrum of business activities, including transactional,
business formation, consolidation and acquisition, and planning,
as well as the normal operational legal problems.
He provides extensive real
estate legal services to his clients, including the development,
construction, purchase, sale and leasing of commercial,
industrial, retail, and residential real estate.
He also advises his clients
in financial transactions, lending, negotiation, and resolution
of disputes, including, where necessary, representing them in
litigation.
Mr. Mallon is committed to
providing personalized attention to his clients, developing an
in-depth knowledge of the matter and the goals of the client,
maintaining good attorney-client communications, and handling
matters in a cost effective manner.
When a matter includes a
dispute, his first goal to solve the issues in a collaborative
way which can achieve the client’s objectives, avoiding, where
possible, the expense and uncertainty of litigation. If this
approach is not possible, he will aggressively advance the
client’s interests in court. |
